The only people who ride my bike are me and my SO. And everyone knows it.
Ever hear the saying:
"You know she loves you if you ask her to ride her bike and she says yes. She knows you love her if you don't."
She's riding a 250 Yamaha Exciter we bought her to practice on. She bought a Ninja 250 that she's going to put on the road next year. She got a good deal on it but can't afford to insure it yet. I've insured two bikes for the kids to ride on. The Exciter and a Suzuki GS550L. That was my limit. Something to practice on until they get their license. They had to get their license this year. I've got all adult children, they're on their own after this year.
She wants to ride her dad's HD Sporster. He got that after my SO moved in. My SO is a mc safety instructor and has been riding since he was a kid. She can't hold up the Sporster yet. Her dad has dumped his bike a few times. I'll let her dump his. I have a sore spot where HD are concerned. Know too many people that think if it's not a HD, it's not a real bike. Makes me angry and want to stay away from HD just because of the attitude of some people.
